This privacy statement applies to all business processes in Nanopower AS, herein referred to as the Processing Manager.

The statement provides information about data processing performed by the Processing Manager and determines the purpose and means of processing as well as data processing we do on behalf of our customers based on their instructions.

Processing of personal data is necessary for us to be able to fulfill our contractual obligations and serve you as a customer. Personal data can also be used for the following purposes: sales, contact with customer service, marketing, information, and bookkeeping.

When marketing by email / sms, we  must obtain an explicit consent in advance.

By providing us with your personal information, you accept the practices and terms described in this privacy statement.

If you have objections with regard to our processing of privacy, you also have the opportunity to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

The information collected

Information can be registered and stored when you register at www.nanopower.store, when you are in contact with sales and support either via email, chat, or when you use our services.

Storage and sharing of information

Where do we store information about you - and where do we share the information about you with others?

Our e-commerce platform is provided by Mystore.no AS and data is stored in their cloud services at Amazon Cloud Services' (AWS) data center in Ireland.

Subcontractors

We also use services provided by 3rd parties. Here is an overview of subcontractors where information can be stored

Vipps: If you pay with Vipps in the online store (or our physical store), your telephone number will be sent to Vipps for further identification.

Klarna: If you pay with Klarna in the online store, personal information such as email, name, address, social security number will be shared with Klarna for credit.

Google Workspace: Workspace by Google is used, among other things, for handling email, documents (Google Disk/Drive). Information is stored in these systems and email correspondence or documents may be stored on Google Workspace by Google.

Mailchimp: Mailchimp is used for email marketing or sending out newsletters. Name and email can be shared with Mailchimp

Google Analytics: Google Analytics is used for traffic analysis. IP addresses and visitor patterns are stored.

Tripletex AS: Tripletex is our accounting system and data required for bookkeeping is stored here. Typical Name / address / orders / invoice.

Mystore Database: We use Mystore Datakasse as a checkout solution in our physical store. Information related to your order is stored in Mystore Datakasse.

Adyen: If you pay with Visa or Mastercard, personal information such as card number will be sent to Adyen for processing the payment.

Logistra: Logistra is our supplier of EDI solution. When you shop in our online store, information such as name, telephone number and address will be shared with Logistra for printing consignment notes and transport labels.

Bring / Postnord / DHL / TNT: We send packages with Bring / Postnord / DHL / TNT and thus share information related to shipping such as name, telephone number and address.

Crall.io: Crall is our system for handling chat correspondence, as well as features such as abandoned shopping carts, birthday congratulations and visiting patterns. Crall.io is also used to send out order confirmations and email, name and address and information related to the order confirmation are thus shared with them. Technology from Crall.io is also used to generate product recommendations. The product recommendations are based on visit patterns and order history that are stored for up to a year.

Communication through email and sms

As a customer, you will be able to receive emails and text messages about your customer relationship. For example, we will send you email / sms related to orders you have placed, sms with tracking number, forgotten password, information about your customer account, etc. This is defined as a legitimate interest and consent will not be sought.

We also use email for marketing and communication. As a customer of the Data Controller, you will regularly receive newsletters as long as you have given your active consent to it. It is possible to unsubscribe from newsletters by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails.

Insight and correction

You are entitled to access the information registered about you. Access can also be obtained by sending an inquiry to info@nanopower.global. If the registered information is incorrect or incomplete, you can demand that the information be corrected in accordance with the Personal Data Act.

Storage and deletion

Information that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was created, is deleted from our systems.

Information on the use of cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer. We use cookies, among other things, to remember your login, password in encrypted form, to improve the user experience and as part of our marketing to new customers. When you visit our services, we set both temporary and permanent cookies. A temporary cookie is often deleted automatically when you close your browser, while permanent ones can stay on your computer for up to a year. Crall.io: Crall.io uses cookies to identify a session and your user ID.
